Display Your 2019 Family Photos
This is a great time to organize your images from 2019 and display them in your home. Are you the type who has the time to create a yearly photo album? Or do you just want to get some of your favorite images together in a quick display?
Our memories are trapped in our technology, so whichever method you choose, do something to display your family’s 2019 moments throughout your home.
Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
Yearly Family Album: This is a great project to help you cull through your family pictures and clean up your photo app. I was never much of a scrapbooker, but digital photo albums I can handle. There are so many online labs to make the creation and printing of your photo book straightforward and easy. Check out this post of mine that reviews various online print labs (http://www.nicolalevine.com/blog/choosing-an-online-print-lab)
Amazon Echo: Amazon and Alexa have become fixtures in many people’s homes. Since these devices are usually in a room where your family spends a lot of their time, using an Amazon Echo for a slideshow is a great way to display some of your favorite family images. It is very easy and convenient to set up a slideshow. Here are a few quick steps to get you started:
Download the Amazon Photo App on your phone
Create an Album in Amazon Photo
Sync the photos on your phone to the app
Go to your Amazon Echo
Select Settings> Wallpaper> Amazon Photo App > Choose Album you created > return to home screen
Update some of your desktop frames around your home. These sizes are easy to print and take just a few minutes to swap out.
Change the screensaver on your phone and computer
Obviously, photography is a passion of mine, and one of the reasons I was drawn to it, was to capture the memories of my family. Technology is constantly updating and changing. Images are available to us now, might not be compatible with upgraded technology in the future. Take the time to print and make tangible copies of your favorite family images now so they are not lost for future generations.
