Spring Break Photography Project

Want a creative way to keep the kids engaged this spring break and broaden their interest in the art of photography?

Give The Kids The Camera

This is a great activity for young kids and teens too.

Have them use a smartphone camera or a DSLR camera if they are old enough.

Try to have your child take a picture a day.

Your child could take a photojournalistic approach and document your vacation or time spent at home.

Perhaps give them one element to focus on each day. Brainstorm some basic items to creatively capture each day. Here are a few ideas: Doors, window frames, shadows, flowers, textured surfaces, street lights at night, color contrast, patterns. Anything really!

Finish everything off and create an album with all the favorite photos to display at home. Check out these online photography labs.
