Family Session in the Park

Today I am sharing a recent photo session with a Dad and his daughter at their local park.  On my initial phone call with Dad, he expressed how much his daughter enjoyed the park. This became a perfect location to capture what is relevant to this family in this moment in time. I used a documentary approach to allow the little girl to become comfortable with the session and me. I followed her around as she explored and climbed on the park equipment.  We played some peek-a-boo games, listened to some Moana music and finished off with some daddy-daughter snuggle time. Finding a location that is important to the family strengthens the meaningfulness of the final photo gallery and ultimately archives some great memories!
