Capturing Milestones and Memories: A Highland Park Family's First Birthday Photo Session

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family of five in Highland Park, to celebrate their youngest child's first birthday. The family was incredibly welcoming and laid back, it was clear they were close and enjoyed doing things together.

The parents wanted to capture their youngest's first birthday milestone with a photo session that focused on the youngest, but also included images with the whole family, as well as with the two older sisters. We captured a mix of simple, posed shots of the family, as well as more candid shots.  We incorporated photos of her crawling, bopping to music, cozying up with her sisters, and highlighted some quiet moments in her room. 

I was thrilled to deliver a beautiful gallery of images to this family. They will be able to enjoy the images for years to come and have a special keepsake documenting their youngest’s first birthday milestone.
