In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I'd like to share some valuable insights on how you can support a friend or family member undergoing breast cancer treatment.

According to Breastcancer.org, about 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12.4%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. What does this mean? It means there is a very high probability that a girlfriend, mom, sister, wife or mother you know, will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
