ALR Connections Branding Photo Session: Capturing Women Supporting Women in Business
I recently had the privilege of photographing the incredible team of women who run ALR Connections, a boutique staffing agency dedicated to connecting experienced women with local job opportunities. Unlike web-based platforms, they focus on building authentic relationships, meeting with each candidate to understand their unique skills and aspirations. Their approach brings life-changing results for both job seekers and small business owners.
For their branding session, we wanted to showcase their friendly, approachable vibe—both as individuals and as a team. Without a set office location, my home studio was the perfect backdrop to create diverse looks that reflected their professionalism and authenticity. From casual, relaxed moments to more formal shots, we captured the essence of what makes them stand out in their field.
We also took to downtown Lake Forest, to capture their community-driven approach, blending a fun, professional vibe with the energy of the local businesses they support. These images were all about connection—highlighting their dedication to women and small business owners alike.
A personal highlight of this session was the opportunity to work closely with Amy, the founder of the agency. I’ve known Amy for several years, and our connection has been a source of incredible support for my own photography business. She has always been a champion for women in business, and I’ve been lucky to be part of her grassroots networking events, where she brings local women together to grow and succeed. Through those connections, I’ve built relationships that have helped my business thrive. Amy’s unwavering dedication to uplifting women has been a true inspiration to me, both personally and professionally, and I’m deeply grateful for the role she’s played in my journey.
